Fat and Fucked, Ep. 31 - Tigress Osborn Dishes Up Fat Lib, Pt. 1

Hello, friends! In this rich hour, Dr. Krista and Suzy are joined by the National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance (NAAFA) executive director Tigress Osborn.  Tigress gives us an amazing history lesson in the early days of the struggle for fat liberation which led to NAAFA's founding, an exploration of internalized fat bias, and the forever work of freeing ourselves from the insidious messaging of diet culture.  Tigress shares her own journey to fat lib and the challenges of living out loud as a well-known fat black woman in the public eye.
